how my story began

My story started 50 years ago when my father immigrated here with only a $100 in his pocket. My mother also worked two jobs and managed the household. Our story is like a lot of people in New Jersey, in America. Humble beginnings. Hard work. And a belief that the American Dream is available to anyone willing to chase it.

And, chase it is what I did. I am a biotech entrepreneur, innovator, healthcare policy expert, law professor and a licensed pharmacist and attorney. Trained at world–renowned Rutgers University as a pharmacist and lawyer, I had the honor of being the U.S. Senate nominee for the New Jersey Republican Party in 2020 where I received >1.8 million votes - more votes than any Republican in New Jersey history.

My story is one of first-generation Americans whose parents came here through the legal process to provide opportunity for a brighter future for their children and now grandchildren. This story is simply not possible in any other country on earth. Only in America can it become a reality!

Professionally, I worked at the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), where I spent years fighting to reduce drug prices, cracked down on illegal, unapproved drugs and worked to remove dangerous opioids from our streets.

Now, I am an entrepreneur working to develop new treatment options for rare diseases and breaking down complex, redundant and oftentimes unnecessary regulatory requirements using advanced technologies.

Motivation comes from within.
